Upper Secondary (Stage 10 & 11)

The Cambridge Upper Secondary offers the Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (or IGCSE) for learners aged 14 to 16 years.
We at Pavna follow the IGCSE board which is in fact the world’s most popular international qualification and is taken in over 5000 Schools in over 150 countries. Students usually study 9 subjects and the qualifications are internationally recognised.
The programme is usually taken over a two-year period. IGCSE is tailored for a wider ability range of students with a broader grading system and offers more subject options for learners.

ACADEMIC

At Cambridge Upper Secondary, students are prepared for Cambridge IGCSE which is the world’s most popular international qualification which aligns students to be on the same level as their global counterparts. Apart from core subjects, the students have a wide variety of subjects to choose from. Encouraging learners to engage with a variety of subjects, and make connections between them, is fundamental to the Cambridge approach.

SPORTS

Physical fitness is not only one of the most important keys to a healthy body, but it can also greatly enhance creative intellectual activity.

The PIS Sport Programme aims to instill confidence and helps students to move with increased control, fluency and variety. It develops their understanding of concepts, rules, tactics, strategies, teamwork and coordination and compositional ideas. Specialist coaches are available year-round enabling students to focus and refine their skills in a single sport which they have opted for.

CO-CURRICULAR

The co-curricular activities are designed to bring social skills, intellectual skills, moral values, personality progress and character appeal in students. It gives vent to learners’ self-expression.
